Large, 3-5+ eye, 16oz minimum root mass
'Charlie's White' is very early, and the first white double to bloom! A large vigorous plant, with flowers that open with a creamy center glow quickly turning pure white. This variety is sought after by cut flower growers to provide blooms up to two weeks earlier than the standard white "Duchesse".
This variety is very fragrant, and will throw 30+ stems per plant when mature and well cared for.
"Charlie's White" will open from very tight buds, is well suited to cut flower shipping, and noted to have exceptional cold storage capability.
As a garden specimen, you can count on Charlie's White to stand taller than most other peonies and provide a strong sweet fragrance! The roots are very large, and divisions can be taken relatively quickly.
One of the best for starting the cut peony season early!
