'Bartzella' - Fresh Cut Stems
'Bartzella' is an incredible peony which was awarded the 2006 Gold Medal for excellence by the American Peony Society. It is one of the finest double yellow peonies available. The fluffy deep lemon yellow flowers have center petals that show red flares at their base. The blooms are very large — up to 10" (25 cm) in diameter and stems often have side buds. Flowers have a lovely lemon fragrance and are held high above deeply cut, dark green foliage. With excellent vase life, and an exceptional display, this variety is in high demand among top floral designers.
