Snow Princess is the kind of cultivar that earns its place in a commercial peony field by doing something every flower farmer needs: producing a useful, elegant white flower that fits naturally into wedding, bridal, and event work.
The flowers open a refined white with a classic, full peony form that works equally well in bridal bouquets, centerpieces, and mixed event work. Rather than being planted as a novelty cultivar, Snow Princess makes the most sense as part of a farm’s core white-peony program.
For commercial growers, whites are different from specialty colors. A florist may only need a handful of an unusual yellow or dark red peony, but during wedding season they may need buckets of white.
