'Carnation Bouquet' is a marvelous double pink hybrid peony with a spicy fragrance like cloves. Very early bloom season, will arrive weeks before most other peony varieties. The blooms are dense, very ruffled, and incredibly neat and tidy in appearance. This variety is a stand out in the fields, and a customer favorite!
The wavy petals are all of an equal length giving an overall appearance of a neat carnation-like bloom. The plant is very vigorous. As a bonus it can be used for further breeding as it will produce seed.
