'Duchesse de Nemours' is an heirloom peony, of the finest quality, which has been deservedly popular for over 150 years. The medium-sized, creamy white flowers have hints of the lightest canary yellow in the center, and shadings of green at the base of the petals when first opening. Once open, the color fades to pure white and the sweet fragrance becomes even stronger. 'Duchesse' is a very good cut flower, and is the floral industry standard double white.
