Kansas is a winner of the American Peony Society Gold medal. This vigorous, very dependable plant throws many strong stiff stems with lush magenta blooms. Few varieties bloom as early, with as much vibrance as Kansas.
The flowers are fragrant, densely packed rose form blooms that will hold color exceptionally well. This is a preferred variety for long term cold storage and also the top choice for drying. Dried blooms will hold their bright magenta color for many years.
