'Mons. Jules Elie' has huge, chrysanthemum-like, silvery rose-pink blooms. Introduced to American gardeners in 1888, award winning 'Monsieur Jules Elie' is still incredibly popular. Very large, double domed rose pink flowers, have the central petals curving inwards and are edged with a silvery sheen. One of the best cut flower peony, which is noted to have exceptional cold storage capability. Very Fragrant.

Even though "MJE" is a common peony, it is still a great part of a cut flower for market program. Very few peonies are as vigorous and prolific as this one. Dependable bloomer, not fussy! Great choice for bulk peony bunches.
