Scarlet O'Hara is one of the earliest cut peony to bloom.
Scarlet red flowers are very large, with bright yellow centers. This very vigorous plant has a light emerald green foliage that stays clean all season and is wonderfully useful for bouquet work, even into September.
This is also the preferred variety for root grafting material, quickly producing large, vigorous, cylindrical uniform roots that are aggressive growers.
